For first-timers
Most people come to their first dance class alone.
That's why we created the Kollective Kompanion program.
Request a Kompanion and a friendly dancer will meet you before your first class, show you around the studio, and help you get comfortable before things even start.
Most of our new dancers are beginners. You're not expected to be perfect. Just show up.
You can request a Kompanion during signup.

One class is barely enough to settle your nerves. Two weeks gives you room to try a few styles and find the ones you actually want to keep doing.

“Kezea — the most inspiring, strong, and encouraging dance teacher I’ve ever had. She introduced me to heels, made me feel confident, and created an experience for me like I’ve never had before. I’m so grateful for her classes and it is something I will never forget. Her classes created an army for me that I will always feel extremely connected to. Anyone would be lucky to get the opportunity to learn from this powerhouse.”

“I have long wanted to dance, and it was Kezea who became my first coach, and I can say with confidence that she is the best in her field, a dance psychologist, I am very glad that fate chose her to be my coach.”

“Kezea is an amazing teacher. She saw me struggling in her class and helped me one on one. She used her own time to give me the extra help I needed. She has always encouraged me telling me how much potential she sees in me as a dancer. She challenged me in every one of her dance classes and this helped me become a better and more confident heels dancer. I believe that everyone should try one of Kezea’s classes because it will help you develop more confidence and fierceness!”
Tanis Alexander
“When I first joined her heels class, I had very little experience with this style of dance and was honestly quite nervous. However, Kezea created such an empowering environment, that I found myself growing more confident with each session. Kezea always pushed us, not with the focus of perfecting her own choreography, but for us to realize our own potential. Her motivation and encouragement not only transformed me into a better dancer, but also fostered a level of confidence within me that I had never experienced before. I’m so excited to keep learning from her at Kollective Khaos. And if you’re reading this, feeling hesitant to try something new: take the leap. Kezea will show you that you are more capable than you think, and I promise you won’t regret it.”

Do I need dance experience?
Nope. Our Beginner classes are designed for true first-timers, and all our drop-in classes are welcoming at every level. Just let the instructor know it's your first time.
What does 'unlimited' mean?
During your 14-day window you can attend as many drop-in classes as you want. There's no per-class cap. Book them all.
When does my 14 days start?
Your trial activates automatically when you book your very first class. So purchasing today doesn't start the clock. Your first booking does.
Can I come with a friend?
Absolutely. Your friend just needs their own trial pass (or a drop-in credit). We'd love to see you both.
Is this only for new students?
It is designed for new students, but if you have only taken a few classes and still want to try it, email info@thekollectivestudios.com and we can take a look.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. For Heels classes, bring heels if you have them, but bare feet are totally fine especially for Beginner Heels. No dress code otherwise.
No experience needed. Most people start as complete beginners.
