Madi started dancing at age three with ballet and jazz and soon moved into the competitive world. Over years of training across many styles, she grew to love hip hop, jazz, and contemporary most. She has trained at multiple studios, performed in Mexico and Myrtle Beach, and spent countless hours assisting teachers while honing her craft.
Her teaching journey began during COVID‑19, a period that deepened her understanding of herself and her role as an educator. Before teaching, Madi attended conventions like Dance Attack and Fever to learn from top choreographers and gather tools for her own career. In 2021, she began teaching at O’Neill Academy of Dance (London, ON), adapting to protocols while running successful classes, leading warmups, teaching combinations, and giving young dancers space to explore creativity.
At Wilfrid Laurier University, she joined the Recreational Dance Program as a participant and later became an instructor—leading intermediate hip hop and advanced jazz in her final year.
Selected Highlights: • Five Star Dance Company, Mayan Riviera, Mexico — accepted for three years; performed for guests; trained locally and engaged in cultural activities. • Battle of the Stars, Toronto — Dance Attack professional competition; placed 3rd among the year’s selected routines.
Teaching Philosophy: Madi’s classes balance technical skill and personal expression within a supportive environment. She sees dance as both discipline and communication—emphasizing hard work, creativity, and self‑discovery. Through structure, feedback, and encouragement, she aims to build confidence, resilience, and a deep love for the art form, making the studio a space where every dancer feels seen, valued, and inspired.
