Kezea Shayne Gamboa

Heels • Hip-Hop • K-pop • Commercial

With over a decade of dance experience, Kezea Shayne Gamboa has honed her skills across multiple styles—from the sharp dynamics of Hip‑Hop, K‑pop, and Commercial to the expressive strength and sensuality of Heels. Starting as a self‑taught dancer, she grew her artistry through advanced training, intensives, and mentorship from top choreographers at programs and festivals across Canada.

Kezea’s journey took off in 2021 when she discovered her passion for Heels during her time at Wilfrid Laurier University. Within a year, she became the Advanced Burlesque instructor for the WLU Recreational Dance Program, choreographing four showcase pieces for ~35 dancers. She went on to teach at The Underdog Dance Corp (2023–2025), leading classes in Heels, Commercial, Hip‑Hop, and K‑pop, and creating performance pieces that built both skill and stage presence for her students.

Beyond the studio, her choreography and direction span music videos, concerts, and community work:

Choreographed & directed the music video “Be the Best” by Princess Anne Inyang, casting and coaching dancers to embody a message of empowerment and faith.

Performed and choreographed live concert sets for artists such as Spitty & Sonaali (“Kush” and “Lies”) at major festivals, including Desifest Toronto 2025.

Designed and staged large‑scale showcase performances, ensuring every dancer has their moment to shine.

Led dance workshops in local high schools (e.g., St. Mary’s High School), inspiring and training the next generation of dancers.

Training Highlights: Heels Foundations — Brinn Nicole, Hector Invictus Lopez, Heaven Liu Annen, Rachel Romanoski • Shaping Heelogy — Shaping Sarah • Montreal Heels Festival — Advanced Heels Workshops & Performance Training • The Dance Rebellion Convention — Dance + Spiritual/Wellness training.

Teaching Philosophy: Kezea’s classes are known for powerful choreography with a focus on confidence and self‑expression. She envisions Kollective Khaos Dance as a space where every dancer, regardless of background or experience, can train at a high level while feeling supported, celebrated, and inspired. Her mission is to build a community rooted in discipline, artistry, and empowerment—where dancers push their limits, own their presence, and grow together. When you train with Kezea, you don’t just learn choreography—you live in it.
