With nearly 20 years of dance experience, Sophia Gryshchenko blends technical precision with expressive performance. Trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballroom, and Latin, she studied at leading KW studios including Let’s Dance, In Motion, Premier Dance Academy, and Waterloo Dance.
Her love for Latin began in childhood—sparked by Spanish music and salsa lessons she took on family vacations. Back home, she continued in Ballroom and Latin at a dedicated local studio, deepening technique and performance skills.
Sophia trained at Wilfrid Laurier University through the Recreational Dance Program (Jazz, Lyrical, Open). In 2024, while living in Montreal, she immersed herself in daily training for four months across Jazz Funk, Hip‑Hop, Commercial, Cheer, Heels, Reggaeton, Contemporary, and Salsa—expanding creativity and versatility. She learned from instructors such as Steven Caine, Miambi Kassé, and Jamal Edem, whose diverse approaches further enriched her artistry.
Her choreography blends power, sensuality, and playful charm, with an emphasis on musicality and character. Classes are high‑energy yet approachable—supportive, welcoming, and confidence‑building—so dancers work hard, have fun, and leave proud of what they created together.
